The Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) is looking for 4–8 talented and motivated PhD-level professionals in geotechnical engineering to join our interdisciplinary teams. We are hiring across our divisions:
- Natural Hazards
- Offshore Engineering
- Geotechnics and Environment
- Geodata and Technology

Key Qualifications
- You are an early career geotechnical engineer, and have a recently completed PhD (or you are less than 6 months from completing a PhD) in geotechnical engineering
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral. You are an active listener who adapts your style to ensure clarity and understanding.
- A collaborative mindset. You enjoy sharing knowledge, working in interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to team goals.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities. You are curious, capable of identifying challenges, and skilled at evaluating solutions from multiple perspectives.
