Duties
The appointed researcher will play an active and central role in driving and further developing the research group’s experimental laser scanning microscopy activities, with a focus an multiphoton microscopy combined with fluorescence lifetime imaging (MPM-FLIM). The work primarily involves experimental research using advanced optical and laser-based instrumentation, sample preparation, data analysis, documentation, and the writing af reports and scientific articles.
The development work aims ta deepen and advance the group’s research within MPM-FLIM for applications ta biological samples based an autofluorescence. Particular emphasis will be placed an programming and the development of data analysis methods. The objective is ta integrate Al-based analytical approaches as a central component af the group’s methodological development, in order ta enhance image analysis, spectral unmixing, and pattern recognition in complex biological data.
The researcher is also expected to take an active role in compiling and publishing research results, as well as contributing to the supervision of master’s students and doctoral candidates.
